A Spot In The Sun

A masked figure sits on a stone ledge where sunlight cuts across a pale Venetian wall. Blue and green fabric, yellow gloves and bright lace-up boots create a vivid contrast with the simple setting. Captured during the Venice Carnival, the relaxed pose gives a playful character to the elaborate costume.
