Evanescent Light

Warm light turns a towering sandstone butte orange in Evanescent Light. Darker slopes spread beneath it in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, with a pale blue and peach sky overhead. Simone Amaduzzi’s vertical photograph emphasizes the rock’s height, sculpted edges and deeply textured face.
