Raising the Sisters

Dark sandstone silhouettes stand beneath a sky streaked with pink, orange and blue in Raising the Sisters. Photographed in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park, the composition gives the glowing clouds room to unfold. Simone Amaduzzi contrasts the desert’s strong outlines with the sky’s flowing colors.
