San Petronio

Warm lights illuminate San Petronio against a black sky in Bologna, Italy. The stone facade fills the frame while reflections spread across the paving in front. Simone Amaduzzi’s nighttime photograph brings the building’s contrasting surfaces and surrounding architecture into a broad, symmetrical composition.
