The Baroque Couple

Two white masks emerge from richly layered cream and brown costumes, their red lips standing out among feathers, ribbons and decorative fans. Posed before a wooden doorway, the pair share a warm, coordinated palette. This Venice Carnival portrait highlights the elaborate details that bring their costumes together.
