A weathered tree clings to the canyon rim in The Guardian. Its twisting trunk and sparse foliage stand against layered cliffs and a blue sky in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. Simone Amaduzzi’s angled composition contrasts the close detail of bark and roots with the vast landscape beyond.
