Velvet Silence

A purple-gloved finger rests against bright lips beneath an extravagant pink and violet headdress. Butterfly ornaments, gold trim and strands of pearls surround the pale mask, filling the portrait with color and texture. Photographed during the Venice Carnival, the gesture of silence gives this elaborate costume a playful focus.

Featuring Velvet Silence by Simone Amaduzzi, this blank art card leaves room for a personal message.
