Baci

A golden-gloved hand lifts toward the lips of a matching gold mask, suggesting a kiss. A large circular headdress radiates outward in beads and decorative shapes, with Venetian architecture softly visible behind. Captured during the Venice Carnival, the portrait combines an expressive gesture with a striking, sunlike costume.
