Eyes Of Rainbow

Vivid red, yellow, green and blue folds surround a white mask decorated with flowing rainbow patterns. Bright red lips and sharply framed eyes anchor the colorful composition. Photographed during the Venice Carnival, this close portrait celebrates the repeating curves and bold contrasts that connect the mask with its elaborate costume.
