Festa

A gold-patterned mask and tall dark feather rise above a yellow and cream costume trimmed in black. The figure’s outstretched arms add movement against the pale Venetian architecture behind. Photographed during the Venice Carnival, the portrait pairs a lively pose with richly layered fabric and decorative detail.

Display Festa by Simone Amaduzzi on aluminum, with the photograph infused beneath the surface and a wooden base included.
