La Matta

A white mask decorated with playing-card symbols tilts beneath a curling black-and-white jester hat. Dark fabric and striped folds frame the face, while the close viewpoint emphasizes the eyes and whimsical patterns. Captured during the Venice Carnival, the portrait brings a playful sense of movement to the costume’s graphic contrasts.

Display La Matta by Simone Amaduzzi on aluminum, with the photograph infused beneath the surface and a wooden base included.
