My Thought To You

A white mask with gold lips rests beneath a pink headdress decorated with jewels and fine netting. Gloved hands hold a pink rose against shimmering gold fabric. Photographed during the Venice Carnival, this close portrait brings together soft floral shapes, delicate patterns and the still gaze behind the mask.
