Sighs

A white-masked figure in a cream and peach costume turns beside the canal below the Bridge of Sighs. Flowers and gold ornaments frame the profile, while the water leads between sunlit stone buildings. Captured during the Venice Carnival, the composition connects the costume’s delicate details with the architecture of Venice.
