Sighs Of Colors

Two masked figures in peach and red costumes stand beside a canal beneath the Bridge of Sighs. Elaborate headdresses and contrasting fabrics brighten the foreground, while pale buildings lead the eye into the scene. Photographed during the Venice Carnival, the image pairs richly detailed costumes with an unmistakable Venetian backdrop.
